What is best to improve memory and keep looking younger at 40's and above?
When a person is in the late 40’s and if he/she has been taking good care of oneself, he/she may look just like about in late 20’s but once he/she reaches late 50’s the difference will show that he/she is getting old either through his/her memory or by his/her looks. If there are ways to improve both the memory and looks, the person could even look younger even at 60’s, looking just at 30’s. How to do this? What exercise, medication, habits, sleep, relaxation, work, etc.
The best way to improve your memory is to use it. Your brain is a muscle, and it needs exercise just like the rest of you. Read books that challenge you, not light reading but history, science, politics, literature. Try to learn a new language, watch documentaries, do the daily crossword. Keeping a journal or a blog is probably a good idea, writing down what happens to you will help you remember. Just remember, the same rules for the body apply to the mind: If you don’t use it, you lose it.
Read all the time, exercise all the time, and focus on others- people will like you if you value them.
Looks are genetically predisposed unfortunately. But you can help it a great deal by not smoking eating a balanced diet , exercising such as fast walking and surrounding yourself with good friends .Have a nap whenever you can,

Are you taking vitamin supplements? The best kind comes in a liquid. I’m ‘in’ my late fiftys. And when people I know find out my age,they are really surprised. They thought I was in my mid fortys. On the memory,I find that I have to take supplements for that now,or else I could hide my own Easter eggs. And keep a good attitude. The sparkle in your eyes helps keep the age off.
lol……I am in my 60s and everyone that I finally will admit my age to are shocked….they thought or think I am in my 40s….First of all I wear my hair in a good style…a younger style than little old ladies lol…..dress young…my girls would KILL me if I dressed like the oldies….SMILE…..don’t act old, I keep my body in shape, keep a tan (checked each year), lather up in facial lotion….just be happy and don’t over use the makeup like lots of the older ones will try to do on the cheeks…you know you’ve seen them…I laughed so hard (but loved it) when my oldest daughter introduced me to a friend and she thought we were sisters…so like I said SMILE…..be happy it works…..Good Luck!!.
